ECO-RESPONSIBLE HOTEL IN THE VAR

Our

Commitments

La Bastide de Tourtour Hôtel & Spa has always been sensitive to environmental issues. It was therefore unthinkable for us to be surrounded by such a beautiful and rich nature and not to take care of it. Indeed, nature has spoiled us and we owe her everything! It is nature that makes our house so prestigious and unique thanks to its environment and its unmissable view.
We have therefore taken several strong measures that we apply on a daily basis. In particular, we are committed to reducing our water and energy consumption. We have installed photovoltaic panels, charging stations for electric vehicles, low-energy LED lamps, water reducers on taps and showers, heat pumps for additional water heating and a solar cover for the outdoor swimming pool.

DESTINATION VAR NETWORK

In addition to all these daily actions, La Bastide Tourtour Hotel & Spa is a member of the Destination Var network. This network of emblematic tourism professionals in the region aims to highlight the players in the Var tourism industry who have a quality offer and are keen to promote the quality of their products and services, to strengthen their commitment to responsible tourism and to become ambassadors of the Var art of living.

WATER AND ENERGY SAVINGS

We have solar panels that
We have installed photovoltaic panels to produce our own energy

WASTE REDUCTION AND SELECTIVE SORTING

We no longer use disposable tableware, even for private events, and have implemented a selective sorting system.

LESS FOOD WASTE

We have done away with the restaurant's menu in favour of a single menu with a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses and 6 desserts.

WE HAVE
THE GREEN HAND

Our green spaces are maintained without pesticides and we contribute to the protection of biodiversity. We regularly plant trees and plants and no longer buy flower bouquets with a limited lifespan. We voluntarily leave areas uncultivated in order to preserve the fauna and flora.
